Apr. 3rd, 2009 07:26 pmWearing my new talit (which I plan to leave in shul tomrrow--ergo the photo today). We bought the fabric in a Jackson Heights sari shop and Shoshana turned it into a talit with fringes from Eichler's following instructions from The Jewish Catalogue.

Date: 2009-04-04 11:05 pm (UTC)Tying the knots is way more methodical and meticulous than I am used to; I'm lucky that Shoshana did it for me (even if that is not kosher according to sexist Orthodox halacha which insists knots are supposed to be tied by a man).
