spider bite

Earlier this evening Shoshana was bitten by what appears to be a common house spider. We tried to figure out whether and how urgent she needs medical attention from info on the web, and then we called a friend who happens to be an ER MD. Our friend did some research & called back & said Shosh should stay awake for another hour and monitor it. If it's no worse in the morning she probably won't need any further treatment. The hour is about up, it looks no worse, and we're both really tired. Nitey nite.
