This is interesting, but doesn't really explain differences based on the people you're relating to. I've had some boyfriends that I was overly affectionate with and others not at all. Also, my "sociability" (is that a word? I use it often but thought I made it up haha) fluctuates according to those around me.

It's true. Some people bring out sides of us that we don't feel safe showing to certain other people.
