Wow, talk about speaking out of both sides of your mouth. Yesterday McCain finally said something about the hate speech happening at his and Palin's rallies, and then today his camp attacks Obama for having the nerve to defend himself in an *extremely* restrained fashion. And also just today, Rep. John Lewis called McCain and Palin out for stoking racial hatred akin to the kind that George Wallace did back in the 60s, and McCain is trying to get Obama to repudiate Lewis's remarks and calling them a "baseless" attack upon his character. From where I sit, Lewis called it exactly right. McCain's campaign is utterly morally bankrupt. I don't know how he and his crew look themselves in the mirror every day.
