I'm still doing our taxes but have done enough of the income part to see we should be getting a refund from the
Feds (still not sure about the state).

Since cash flow seems less precarious & since Shoshana has recently complained that I ought to replace my terry bath robe and my black turtleneck I ordered this robe in plaid and then ordered this turtleneck; since we're already paying shipping Shoshana added this floral long sleeved t-shirt in rhubarb red to the order.

If the tax refund is large enough we may consider replacing our 95 Buick with a somewhat younger used car.

What do you have against prints?

I find them fussy and inelegant, particularly floral, particularly on the clothes of adults. Also, I associate those kinds of ditsy (and yes that's an actual word, and no, it's not "ditzy") prints with the early '90s, having had several early '90s versions of that same LL Bean shirt. Obviously it must have been very popular to stick around so long.

Your wife is quite beautiful in her own particular way, and little printy things do not focus on what is most elegant and streamlined about her. It's like putting a thoroughbred racehorse in a silly shirt.

I wish I had known about this site before I bought a new robe!

I work at home and with 2 kids spend a lot of my time in my bathrobe it seems; and there is a very thin line between "eccentric, work at home mom and uhh.....looks like a homeless person" going to get the paper in the morning......

It's a man's robe. I'm guessing what you bought is a woman's robe which no doubt is more flattering on you. I found it by doing a search on bizrate (http://www.bizrate.com/).

Actually I prefer men's robes; I carry so much stuff around with me (portable phone, pacifier, bottles, pen) etc, I need the bigger pockets!
