IM limited O, anything with Ike & Tina sounds better , because the passion they create --- which is not entirely positive passion, because he was such a fuck to her --- is just more intense than her stuff alone.

Compare lyrics of your song with the more "realistic" lyrics of "The River is Wide," an old English folk song updated by the Kingston Trio:

I was thinking something similar. The Accra show has more raw intensity to it. OTOH, Tina is just such a force of nature that 25 years later, she kicks about as much ass and looks almost exactly the same except for her hair. :-}
