Our 2000 G3 Firewire Powerbook is getting long in the tooth. Our local mac repair guy tells us he could put in a low end G4 processor, but how much of an improvement would that be? We can't afford a new 15" powerbook and are leaning towards buying a new 14" ibook, which would be more in our price range: it's either a 12" powerbook or a 14" ibook. What are the pros & cons of each?
