I didn't get the symbolism at all. I thought of a horse as attractive and utilitarian not as family, a pig as intelligent not money, tiger as beautiful but dangerous not as prideful, cow as friendly and utilitarian not as career, and sheep as stupid and obedient not as love.
The second part was interesting:
dog--loyal self
cat--independent partner
rat--scavenger enemy
coffee--hot sex
sea--vast own life
I thought of yellow as sickly, orange as friendly, red as passionate, white as innocent, and green as inexperienced, and thus I wrote my sister-in-law, my bother, a close female friend, my wife, and my niece.
