Yah, let's see if it ends up that my free thinking pisses the new management at my company off so I end up unemployed!

I hope not, but if you sense that this may be the case diplomacy may be in order while you discretely explore job opportunities at less conformist employers.

I am usually diplomatic, but in this case I'll probably be less so because it will take strong action to remedy the situation they have created; if people kiss their asses they will be too complacent to act. Whatever happen, happens. I think it would be more honorable to state my beliefs than to condone stupid decisions.

Ahhhhh! The method to my madness is revealed. I see no reason to take a lower paying job right off the bat if I can drain their unemployment fund for awhile. I am rather pissed. I liked my boss, I love my job and the company was just starting to recover from horrible setbacks. In my view they have ruined my life with this shortsighted decision.
