I never got into Tolkien. The description of Buckaroo Bonzai on Amazon sounds like a comic book character.

That's because he pretty much is. The movie's a comedy.

It has a strong cast, but it sounds like a parody of genres (comic book superheroes & sci-fi) that I'm not into.
