my dad's surgery tomorrow

My dad's having surgery for the umpteenth time tomorrow to remedy damage to his urinary tract secondary to prostate cancer treatment & surgery some years ago. We're hoping it will be ambulatory, but a room has been reserved for an overnight stay should it prove more difficult. We're hoping for the best.

Well now I feel foolish posting about something so trivial as haircolor. Hoping he didn't have to stay overnight and has a speedy recovery. :)

The surgery was more difficult than anticipated and he is staying over. I'll call early tomorrow morning and see if he's up to receiving visitors.

Thanks, John. He stayed overnight in the hospital and went home this afternoon. The surgeon told my mom he's not sure the repair will hold, and my dad may require further surgery. We're hoping for the best.
