Yesterday after shul we went gift shopping for our soon to be 5 year old twin nieces who will receive junior scrabble, a jewelry kit, a tethered soccer ball (for kicking practice), and a multiple game set. After that we went grocery shopping at the Flatbush Food Co-op, and then went out for dinner at Jack's Fifth Avenue which was quite good and an easy walk from our home (Shosh had honey glazed grilled salmon and I had grilled tilapia--both with black bean salsa & sweet potatoes, but mine had mangoes too). The food was delicious; we'll be back.

This afternoon we went down to the old civil war era waterfront warehouse where Shosh's next exhibit opens on Saturday 5/13 for a final walk through. The exhibit includes much very strong work, and I recommend it to anyone within driving distance of Brooklyn (info at http://bwac.org ). When we got home I organized a vitamin/supplement order, something we haven't done in 7 or 8 months; a 6 month supply came to over $1000. I tried to think of what to eliminate but everything on the list helps one or more of our ailments (mostly mine). Fortunately things are not tight financially. It was also a laundry day, and Shosh managed to get some painting in too while listening to the Yankees game. It's so much easier to do something else while listening to baseball; basketball commands much more of one's attention.
