I don't know if this is a real or fake story, but on The Daily Show Tuesday night there was an item about a country club that excludes Jews located in a Long Island town that is predominantly Jewish. The town council concluded if you can't join them, beat them, and decided to exercise its right of eminent domain and turn the country club into a public golf course. I love it!

this reminds me of a joke:

2 bees were buzzing to one another at their local flowerbed. one bee says to the other "That jewish family next door is having a bar mitzva for their son. I hear Jews have lots of honey at their parties. maybe I should go check it out."

So the other bee says "you do that and then report back to me. if there's honey I'll bring a couple of girls and we'll have us a bee mitzva party"

So bee number one goes in, and he comes back out wearing a little bee kipa. Bee number 2 asks him "why are you wearing that funny little jew hat?"

Bee number one says "well, I didnt want the Jews in there to think I was a WASP".

I tried all combinations of words in a search on this subject....didn't find anything about any country clubs in long island excluding Jews....If it were a real story, it would have been very recent and it would have popped right up in search.
I did however find a page about a fictional community that excluded jews from their country club
