Take a look at this NYTimes article (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/25/magazine/25desire-t.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=%22What%20women%20want%22&st=cse). Among other things there's a discussion of college lesbians and temporarily bisexual women. According to the article bisexual women have higher sex drives than straight or gay women in contrast to bisexual men who have lower libidos than strictly straight or gay men.
OTOH there are advantages to dating bisexual women: first there's the higher libido, and second they're more likely than straight women to agree to a MFF three way.
