oh gimme a break, I'm friends with a few dozen real lesbians. I have a pretty good sence of lesbian gaydar and this broad is a temporary lesbian if ever I saw one. I know the type.
firstly, true bisexuals are very rare. most have a significant preference one way or the other. secondly she's not the type. she's a flighty little party girl who's about as complex as the ongoing plotline of roadrunner vs wile e coyote cartoons. she used to be a frequent visitor to the boot, a bar just off tulane campus and right around the corner from where I live. I have seen her in action, she blended right in there.
really I think the only difference is that women admit it. I think women are more likely to experiment or to have a sexual fling. but I dont think they are necessarily more likely to be able to properly fall in love with someone of either gender. they are just more likely to acknowledge and indulge what is there. but I remain convinced that lindsey lohan is just going through a phase. I've met women like her who do the same thing around college age. however if I was a serious lesbian like her partner, I wouldnt kick lindsay lohan out of bed just for that. and at least she isnt binge drinking with Paris Hilton anymore.
Take a look at this NYTimes article (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/25/magazine/25desire-t.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=%22What%20women%20want%22&st=cse). Among other things there's a discussion of college lesbians and temporarily bisexual women. According to the article bisexual women have higher sex drives than straight or gay women in contrast to bisexual men who have lower libidos than strictly straight or gay men.
OTOH there are advantages to dating bisexual women: first there's the higher libido, and second they're more likely than straight women to agree to a MFF three way.
