I'm comfortable with my own body, but other people's appearance does affect my first impressions of them.

Your Body Image is 0% Unhealthy, 100% Healthy

You have a great body image. You know that no one looks perfect, and you're happy the way you are.
Also, you don't judge other people on their looks... and it helps them feel better about their own bodies!

I'm curious. In what ways does a person's appearance affect your first impressions of them? Also, in what ways do your first impressions affect your later impressions?

I just check one choice and got this score

The text of the second paragraph made me sound like a saint, which I'm not. How we present ourselves affects others' impressions of us, and in this regard I don't think I'm more or less biased than most people. In your el jay (http://anaisdjuna.livejournal.com/402327.html) you mention how physical "scars" are the outward manifestation of emotional scars. I think most people intuitively realize that, and as we get to know someone better we get a sense of hir inner complexes which may either confirm or contradict our initial impressions but more likely will present a fuller multi-faceted portrait.

Do you think that describes you accurately?

Well, the choices were extreme. I am more unhealthy then just 4 percent. For example my stomach looks fat no matter how much I diet, but that was not a question. I don't hate the way I look, or hate shopping, or hate swimwear, so I came out pretty healthy on that quiz. It was good because it was short enough to post in a comment.

yeah, I agree that not hating your body doesn't mean you are non judgemental of others. Some people accept fat in others well, but not in themselves. Being self critical or critical to others are two different concepts.

Abdominal crunches/situps may help.

No, not really that is a myth. You can't make something smaller by exercising it, only bigger. Of course, being in shape over all is good.
