We're adopting a cat!

Many thanks to tamidon whose friend adopted two cats who do not get along and to bethr who alerted me to tamidon's el jay post. This evening I'm driving to the breeder in NJ (about an hour west of us) to get Chuny, who is a male Peterbald (a recent breed--a cross between a Don Sphinx and an Oriental--that is good for allergy sufferers). Today I'll buy kitty litter and cat food so we'll be prepared for him. :)

I'll take and upload pics tomorrow.

Due to heavy traffic we won't get the cat until Saturday

I bought kitty litter, a pan for it, cat food, 2 bowls, and a cat toy this afternoon, but this evening the traffic is so heavy that according to Channel 4's on-line traffic navigator a trip that would normally take an hour would take three hours, so we'll get our cat on Saturday instead.
