Sex and the Single-Minded
Dr. Keroac's hypothesis is bunk. In the decade between my high school graduation 34 years ago and my wedding 24 years ago I was intimate with two dozen women (my wife is #25), and multiple partners has in no way weakened my ability to bond, form attachments, and "forge a successful long-term relationship." BTW, in The Chemistry of Love oxytocin is the chemical of cuddling; endorphins are the chemicals of attachment.
