an inspirational poem from our fearless leader

I received the following poem, composed entirely of quotes from our beloved and apparently multi-talented President, who has obviously mastered the art of poetry, in addition to his other skills.

MAKE THE PIE HIGHER!

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
And potential mental losses.

Rarely is the question asked
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the Internet
Become more few?

How many hands have I shaked?
They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg of opportunity.

I know that the human being
And the fish can coexist.
Families is where our nation finds hope,
Where our wings take dream.

Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize society!
Make the pie higher!

LOL...a bit scary, too.

Lord help me but I like him. I find it refreshing that a President can say things like, where are wings take dream," and "Make the pie higher!" I like that he is average.

What is the alternative? "I did not have sex with that woman," and "I didn't inhale."

G-d bless us everyone.

Tell that to the New Orleaneans who survived his imcompetent disaster relief operation and the kin of those who didn't. Tell that to the soldiers who are sent into harm's way without body and vehicle armor.

I'm missing something here. What does Bush getting his merds wixed and saying silly things once in a while have to do with the general incompetence of the US government and its services, including the military?

Didn't Clinton bomb an aspirin factory, bring us the disater of Magadishu, let Osama have a free pass when we could have got him? Didn't Carter sponsor the tragic hostage "rescue" that went wrong? Didn't Roosevelt mis-read the obvious signs the Japanese were about to go to war, and didn't they wrongfully intern Japanese citizens? These all happened under Democrat rule. You can make a similar stupid list of Republican outrages.

I see we are speaking at cross purposes. Am I permitted to politely take a different position in one area without a whole host of assumptions being made in another?
